La Caleta, fishing village
You don’t have to stray too far from the complex to regenerate body and soul with a dip in the sea. The shores of the Atlantic are but a short walk away in La Caleta, a fishing village that still hangs on to the leisurely pace of life of its people, but has evolved to satisfy the most discerning palates and the travellers’ curiosities.
And so, the visitor can let his senses be lulled by the generous sun that warms these fortunate isles throughout the year, with a fish, plucked from the sea that very morning, which melts in the mouth, a good cool glass of wine, the salty taste on the lips, the eyes taking in all the blueness. Or perhaps, take a walkaround the coves and beaches under the characteristic light of the archipelago, where it is possible to do naturism, diving, surfing, bodyboarding, or watch the treasured turtles in their natural environment.
The visitor chooses the extent to which he gets carried away by the tranquillity or by the activity of this coastal spot, which in the evenings of August is decorated for the fiestas paying homage to the patron saint of the village. And then, there’s the surrounding area wheresome renowned international festivals are held.
Our nearest beaches

Playa de Diego Hernández
This lost corner of the south of Tenerife is one of the jewels in the crown of the island in terms of natural tourism. A wild beach to explore in a wild environment that will delight those who seek direct contact with nature and get far away from the hustle and bustle. It is considered one of the best beaches in Tenerife, and it is very close to our Hotel Suite Villa Maria.
The beach is frequented by naturists and is one of the nudist paradises of the island. Getting lost in its nooks and crannies will show you how profound the south of the island can be and will give you a great opportunity to exercise, in fact, it has several approaches.

Playa de La Enramada
Playa de la Enramada marks the beginning of the promenade from La Caleta to Costa Adeje, but for its visitors it will mostly be noted for the tranquillity, for the atmosphere and for its dark volcanic sand. A fully accessible natural spot in which to rest and sunbathe in the most tranquil area of our surroundings. You can take it easy on the sun loungers or have a refreshing drink at the beach bar and be completely relaxed.
La Enramada is a clean beach, completely open to the sea and from which you can enjoy a majestic sunset in an idyllic setting with hardly any wind or distractions. Although the area is relatively close to the surrounding shopping areas and the La Caleta restaurants, it is a haven of peace for the visitor.

Playa del Duque
This is without a doubt one of the most iconic beaches in Tenerife. This corner of Costa Adeje has everything you need for a tip top holiday experience in one of the island’s prime settings. It is very easy to reach by car; it is fully accessible and has parking. A daily shuttle service is available from the hotel.
Its light sand and crystal-clear waters have made it the tourists’ favourite, so it is not uncommon to see many people taking photos to immortalize their visit. Professional photo shoots are also common on a beach that has the Blue Flag badge, a recognition of the quality of its waters and its services.
Remember that our hotel offers free shuttle service twice a day for you to enjoy El Duque Beach and its very exclusive surrounding shopping centres.
